	Welcome to Mitcham Camera Club and we would like to thank you for visiting our web site. The site as been developed, not only to promote the activities of Mitcham Camera Club, but also to give local enthusiasts a community platform where they can access information, express themselves, exchange ideas and communicate freely with like minded people. Our club, founded in 1948 continues to go from strength to strength, embracing both the old film techniques together with the new digital image projection and printing. The Club meets on Wednesday evenings from 8.00 pm until 10.00 pm at the "All Saints" Community Centre, New Road, Mitcham, CR4 4JN, which is opposite the futuristic Bedzed housing estate. We have competition evenings in the various disciplines both between club members and other clubs. The club has strong ties to the South London Federation and the Surrey Photograhic Association as well as close links to the London Borough of Merton through the Heritage Department. New members are always welcome and there is no pressure to join immediately. Just come along to one of our print, slide or P.D.I. competitions, projected digital image evenings, illustrated lectures, audio visual evenings, still life set ups, social evenings or just come along for a chat. Although a relatively small club we guarantee you will not find a friendlier club in the area. Our membership is drawn not only from Mitcham, but also from a wider area including Morden, Streatham, Wimbledon, Sutton, Hackbridge and Croydon. We do look forward to meeting with you soon.
